We setup two clay pots in our yard and planted an erosion control seed mixture of Tall Fescue, Zorro Fescue, Wheatgrass, Alfalfa, and Rose Clover. One pot we plan to water Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The other pot we do not plan to water at all. We will take pictures to record the results weekly to see what happens. We started the project on 01-10-17 and the weather is expected to be rainy over the next few weeks. The precipitation rate in Dec 2016 was 4.55 in Downtown Los Angeles. This has been higher than normal as compared to last year Dec 2015 was 0.57. The ten year average is 2.63.
